TouchScreen not working in Hp laptop Windows 10 version- 12C HID Device Error
Hi, My touchscreen stopped working and after browsing up few google replies, I was not able to trouble shoot it. When I checked in Device Manager, I was able to see under Human Interface Devices--> 12C HID Device was in error. Tried updating the same but then, that didn't resolve the issue. Further navigated below to System Devices, came across the name "Intel(R) Serial IO I2C Host Controller - 9D60". Just understood it has something to do with Input/Output and 12 C(the name). Right clicked on it and gave Update driver and Yuppie, the touchscreen started working :) PFB the page for reference. To make sure there are no such future issues, keep a check on Device Health.
